Browser features
All old versions of Chrome have virtually limitless features. If some feature is missing in your opinion, you can always add it from the extension store. There are applications for:
- photo editing and video downloading,
- blocking tracking and ads,
- integration with social media,
- screenshot and note taking,
- translation and spell checking,
- reading, event scheduling, calculating, and other application tasks.
But even without extensions, Chrome can do a lot. In fact, it can do everything most users need:
- play videos (including picture-in-picture),
- save bookmarks,
- pin and group tabs,
- translate pages with a single click,
- download images and other files,
- remember passwords and check their validity (Chrome will let you know if your password has been compromised),
- alert you to sites with potentially unwanted and malicious content.
Chrome is also fully integrated with the Google ecosystem. Chrome lets you use Google Pay, Google Assistant, Google Docs, and Google Drive cloud storage. Moreover, you can still access your documents even when you’re not connected to the Internet. For quick access to Google services there is a special button on the Chrome home page.
