How to fix Viber Not Installing on PC

Viber is an invaluable communication tool, allowing users to connect with family and friends around the globe at the touch of a button. Unfortunately, sometimes this connection can be hampered due to technical difficulties. If you are having difficulty installing Viber on your PC, don’t worry! Here are some easy steps you can take to get your Viber installed as soon as possible.

Update Your Windows Version

Viber requires the latest Windows version to be able to install properly. To check if your version is up to date, go to the Control Panel and select “System and Security.”

Under the “Windows Update” section, select “Check for updates.” Windows will then search for any available updates. If any are found, it will start the download process. Once the download is complete, restart your device.

Check Your Computer Settings

Viber may not be able to install if your computer settings are set to block installation of new programs. To check this, go to the Control Panel and select “System and Security.”

Under the “System” section, select “Advanced system settings.”

Under the “Advanced” tab, select “Settings” under the “Performance” section.

Under the “Advanced” tab, ensure that “Allow programs to be installed by other users” is checked.

Disable Any Antivirus Software

Sometimes, antivirus software can prevent certain installations. To ensure that this is not the case, temporarily disable your antivirus software.

Uninstall and Reinstall Viber

If you still cannot install Viber, try uninstalling any existing versions of Viber from your computer and then reinstalling it. Here is how to do this:

  1. Go to the Control Panel and select “Programs and Features.”
  2. Find Viber in the list of programs and select “Uninstall.”
  3. Once Viber has been uninstalled, download the Viber setup file from the official website.
  4. Run the setup file and follow the instructions to complete the installation.

Once you have followed these steps, your Viber should be properly installed and ready to use. In the event that these steps do not work, contact the Viber customer service team for further assistance.
